I arrived here in Japan last night without knowing even a word of Japanese. (Except for *JiHae* my Korean name which also works in Japan).  After lugging one HUGE duffel bag, one HUGE suitcase, and my backpack from the airport bus to the subway station to another transfer line to the destination stop..I called the person who was supposed to pick me up and no one answered! boohoo. I was stranded. Without an address, without any Japanese language skills, and with HUGE bags I had to lug up and down stairs I felt so lost.

So what did I do?  I prayed that God would send me someone that could help me.  I went to the bookstore across the street to the English-Japanese Dictionary section and was able to meet a Japanese young man who directed me to a PC Cafe. Thank goodness!  I found directions to my destination point and here I am at the Japan office of Polaris Project. Praise God.

I am going to visit the area in Tokyo tonight where the sex industry is thriving..might be the red-light district..please pray for me that I would be filled with the Holy Spirit and that my spiritual eyes would be opened.

Remnants--I cannot wait to see you all in Nagoya where God will give us historic answers and blessings!  Love you all and see you soon!

We are not witnesses because of the resolution to our problems.

We are witnesses because of our experiencing that Jesus is the Christ in the midst of our problems.

Two quotes by Ayn Rand I find thought-provoking..

"Racism is the lowest, most crudely primitive form of collectivism.  It is the notion of ascribing moral, social or political significance to a man's genetic lineage..which means, in practice, that a man is to be judged, not by his own character and actions, but by the characters and actions of a collective of ancestors."

"Racism is the quest for the unearned.  It is a quest for automatic knowledge--for an automatic evaluation of men's characters that bypasses the responsibility of exercising rational or moral judgement--and, above all, a quest for an automatic self-esteem."
